Congratulations to Mr. Melendrez. As a dedicated educator, he brings passion and insight to every class he teaches. His commitment to student success goes beyond the classroom. He also serves as an assistant coach for the girls basketball team, inspiring excellence both academically and athletically. Mr. Melendrez’s leadership, enthusiasm, and support make him a highly respected teacher.

2025 Retirements

Mr. Ruiz has been an employee of GISD for 22 years. He taught at Gadsden High School for seven years. He is retiring from education after teaching 30 years.

Mrs. Rojas has worked in GISD for 20 years. She has been at Gadsden High School for five years. She was a teacher and academic counselor. She is retiring from education after 28 years.
